as you may have noticed, rumfire's diamond head firepit is being remodeled (along with the pool on that side) hence the big wall that has gone up.
that has made the room less than ideal, especially when packed with party people, so we have decided to take a breather from oceanfront until the remodel on that side is pau & the wall comes down.
once the wall is down, the diamond head firepit area & outdoor rumfire area in general will be 2-3 times as big on that side with multiple levels & indoor/outdoor areas including a vip cabana type thingy. it will be insane!
it will be amazing & make a unique venue even better. stay tuned for updates. we cannot wait to get back into rumfire as soon as possible.

Flash & Maleko do a regular podcast called Club 301. Jan 2nd-4th Club 301 took over the Star 101.9 morning show...
For the first time ever, Maleko & Flash enjoy a live radio audience of about 30,000 people on Star 101.9-FM, Honolulu. The regular morning show took a vacation and let these two podcasters take the reigns for three days Jan 2nd-4th. Check out the podcast recording of these shows (some are better than others & one we forgot to record until halfway thru) and see for yourself how the city reacts to the duo. Sarah Honda from SMART magazine joins the team for these special shows and adds a much needed female perspective on sports, and politics. We had to cut out the songs (bad) but also the commercials (good).
WITH THREE years of experience hosting his annual "White Party," promoter Flash Hansen isn't worried about guests showing up at the Hanohano Room dressed inappropriately.
Despite the less-than-rosy economic outlook, Flash remains upbeat when talking about FMs plans for the rest of 2008.

There were more judges than contestants. At Planet Hollywood last Tuesday, 14 young women entered the Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contest. There were 15 judges. In fact, there were 16 people at the judges table, but night-life promoters Flash and Matty Boy got only one vote between them.
